In this Course we will provide you with some basic information about the Jewish Shabbat and Kosher guidelines as it relates to the Food Service Needs
There are a few things to remember as you go through this course:
- EVERY CAMP IS DIFFRENT!
The diffrent camps approach their Shabbat and Kosher guidelines differently.
This course is only designed to provide you with the general guidelines
The specifics will be be shared with you when you arrive and work at camp. - RESPECT THEIR FAITH!
We do not ask that you become Jewish.
Or that you change your set of beliefs.
We simply ask that you respect the way that your camp chooses to act. - IF YOU ARE NOT SURE – ASK!
The staff at the Jewish Camps will be happy to share with you knowledge and information about how to operate.
