Most positions are rotated amongst all the support staff; Dishwasher, Service, Dining Hall. Some staff may be selected for specific roles; Dining Hall Steward, Salad Bar, Bakery, Storage Room Steward, or Prep Cook. The preferred language to be used anywhere in the kitchen or on the dining room floor is English. Most Camp Leaders participants enroll in this program to better their English. We encourage you to do so. You will not be reprimanded for speaking your native language, but we will suggest that you speak in English.

If you would like someone to visit you must first obtain approval for any visitors from the camp. You may NOT have visitors on camp that have not been previously announced and checked in at the camp office.

Your day off is yours to do with what you want. Your day off begins at the end of your shift the previous day and ends at 11:00pm the day of your day off. You must sleep in camp the night prior to your next shift.

You may go to town on your days off or shifts off so long as it does not interfere with work and is consistent with Camp’s policy. There may be some days where camp is considered “closed camp” and you are not able to leave the premise. Occasional Group Trips will be arranged for you

Your health is our priority! If you are sick, or do not feel well, you must first see the Camp Doctor. Only the camp doctor can give your supervisor authorization for you to miss work. If you have a serious illness or injury that required you to miss multiple days of work, a hospital visit
